Hei Jodi this is anonymous here apologies for the late feed back.
I was first struck by the simplicity of the overall concept. It was quite direct in delivering the intended message. Yet the choice of using a book as the basis for your graphics may have bin too literal. A slightly more abstract approach may have provided a more intricate composition which had multi layers of meaning. This also allows people to interpret your work differently and think of points of views you never thought of whilst creating your design (this can be quite helpful in pushing your ideas ).
Graphically the images are crisp and well edited with very clean montaging.
There is a strong approach in the third panel to address the lives of the site. The overall medical theme is very effective. I especially like the use of the life line(the zig zaggy thing) to graph the intensity of traffic at different times of the day. I think the comparison between day and night is evident and is a nice subtly touch, that could have been explored more.
Your textures are extremely creative with a great mix of building materials to organic. Some interesting patterns show a detailed understanding of the site and it's surrounding context.
The use of text on the first panel is very interesting, as you refer to the site as a life cycle. This shows to me that your very conscious about the actions that take place on the site and the subsequent consequences.
