Its a coffee table or a whirlygig, depends on which way up it is.
I think you would feel exposed in this space, and possibly dizzy if it is a whirlygig
Could be a performing stage. its already got the poles ready for dancing

I found this one ike standing underwater... Maybe something marine? it also had a kida freaky science nature which makes me wonder whether you could use it for more sciency related things...

you can suspend a bungee cord and help children with limited movement bounce around without falling. it would be a bit isolating if only one child was in it at once.
