I think the text makes it more legible, but sounds a little forced ("I bleed", etc).
I actually like the text-less one, seems less complicated. If you are worried about clarity, I wonder if you cannot include the text in a way that doesn't overwhelm the layout?

I reckon the text one is better but as vihn says there may be a way to integrate the text more with the rest of the image, perhaps by having a more consistant structure to it?
you guys rock....noa gave the same feedback...going to work on the layout of it...well i will try, SO LITTLE TIME!!!!
